The history of the BOLLING name dates back to 1922 when Stewart Bolling and William H. Bolling formed a partnership to rebuild processing machinery for the rubber industry.
KOBELCO Stewart Bolling, Inc. was incorporated in 1989 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kobe Steel Ltd. and moved to its present location in Hudson, OH the following year.
